Groups can choose to affiliate with/be members of the Big Tent Urbanist Network to whatever extent they decide - and affiliation with/membership in the Big Tent should not be viewed as a requirement or responsibility for participating in the Chicago- or Illinois-based urbanist movement. The Big Tent Urbanist Network is led by volunteers from each of the member groups, ensuring that each organization has representation and a voice into community-wide planning efforts.
